PARKING & SHUTTLES: he event in held in downtown st. pete and as such regular city parking was used and available. Those who got to the race early paid regular price ($5.00) but those left to private lots were charged up to $25.00 for Sunday! A free shuttle service (if you paid for parking at the stadium) ran from Tropicana Field in Tampa to the race site.

Culture: Apart from the set of galleries you'll find at any of the local tourist office website for the region, take some time to check out the pride of St. Petersburg's cultural scene, the Salvidor Dali Museum, which boasts the largest collection of the controversial spanish artists work in the world.
Sports: If the timing of the 2004 event is anything like 2003, you might consider to drop in on the Major League Baseball's Detroit Tigers who were doing their pre-season training at the Tampa Bay Devilrays', Tropicana Field, also a place wher you can park your car and ride to the circuit... take a tour of the field and the ball park while you're there...
