Calendar of Events: Concerts and other events are often held at The World Arena on the South end of Colorado Springs.
Movies: Several Multiplex Cinemas and an IMAX theater exist in Colorado Springs. Colorado Springs also hosts the Rocky Mountain Women's Film Festival in November and Colorado generally is no stranger to hosting great film festivals.
Casinos? Are both encouraged and plentiful. Closest I can find is Bronco Billy's in Cripple Creek. There is however, for those with the gambling bug, the Wembley Greyhound Racing Park. And if all else fails there's always a deck of cards and a flashlight!

A FEW NOTES ABOUT PIKES PEAK

Pikes Peak area also boasted the Pikes Peak International Speedway PPIR until it was closed down in November 2005. Pity. It boasted racing by the irl & AMA SUperbike series, as well as NASCAR Busch, USAC to name a few. All things must pass, and lost racetracks are particularly sad occurances. Still there's the most famous hill climb in the world to draw race fans to the peak every summer. Check it out.
