motorsport travel news - 2003 though current day.

Here's some motorsport venue news that I've collected in my research for grand prix cities travel guides over the years. When I started grand prix cities in October of 2002 I had 17 Word for Windows html pages, one for each of the venues on the then Formula 1 Circuit and a home page. It grew out of my own frustration with finding travel information for world motorsports events so I started to keep notes about my adventures, collecting travel tips about speedways and circuits by myself and with the contributions of others, and gathering guide information based on needs when on the road.
Well it grew, and grew, and then grew some more. I didn't think it'd grow into a 500 + page monster resource visited by over a million race fans a year, develop into a full time travel and sports consulting business with a dozen related websites (see the Sports & Travel Network listing in left column), and made me into a world sports travel guru with a travel network that has brought me several hundred friends (good friends all over the world including a few motor racing legends) and one or two very jealous enemies.
On this page you'll find links to tidbits of travel information gossip and rumors I've thought worth mentioning over time, track changes to motorsport schedules especially venues and other website news that might be of interest for the sports traveler and web / auto racing historian in you. Its a kind of blog of thoughts and ambitions. If you've got some news that you'd like me to add to the current News Page, let me know via the contact link in the left column.
Oh, and if you need a Sports Travel Hotel or a world sports or concert event Ticket, don't be shy, and, ah, please tell your friends... :)
