Glad to report that the IRL Indy Car guys didn't break the best street circuit in North America in 2009 and Dario Franchitti took the first win of the next generation of racing at this track that has hosted Formula 1, Champcar and the astounding ALMS American Le Mans Series through the years. In 2010 long beach grand prix temporary street circuit will surely again hear the sound of top level motorsport engines ripping up and down the boulevards. The race is to be the 4th race in the 2010 IRL Series schedule to be held on April 18, 2010 Yay! I'll see you there. And of course, as for all the other runnings of this great event, this will be the 36th year (!) there are activities all over town and the circuit area through practice and qualifying days, Friday and Saturday.
