When you're in Vegas take Interstate-15 North to Exit 54. (around 10 miles) But, as with most races, traffic is a nightmare. There is public transportation from The Strip which is recommended. There are also private shuttles and limousine service to the track.
If you drive, leave very early in the morning to get there and expect to get back to The Strip 3-4 hours after the race. Traffic is unbelievable!

You don't have to buy a ticket, well, it'd be nice if you did, but you can see the seating layout and grandstand, VIP areas from the track seating map you'll find at the available tickets listing.

. > Track Viewing Tips: The best seats seem to be in Section 2, but are almost impossible to purchase from the speedway. You can easily get tickets in Turns 1 or 4 but you might want to consider the new Dale Earnhardt Terrace, which is just as good in it's own way. This new section is between Turn 4 and the front stretch but is high up with views of the entire track. You will be rewarded with individual, stadium-style seats with cup holders, private elevators, separate bathrooms and concessions. Find Tickets
