A FEW NOTES ABOUT NURBURGRING, NURBURG GERMANY

Hands up those who found travel information about this grandprixcity in the middle of the Eifel mountains in Germany as hard to find as I did when I first decided to visit there?! If it wasn’t for the cult-like aura surrounding the old mega-track and the crazies who still race (and many times crash, sometimes fatally) their bikes and cars on the old Nordschleife (North Loop) circuit when it’s open to the public for such activities, even the briefest info online would be hard to find. If your search bought you here, hello and welcome. Set in the beautiful Eiffel Mountains, the second German grandprixcity grows in the campgrounds around the circuit, and is populated by the mostly German & Dutch race fans, who take every chance to see any action on this quite underutilized facility. Oh yeah, pack your raincoat. In Nurburg, it will rain. Godspeed, Cvetko Ostroznik.
