The circuit operate a campsite to the west of the Coppice / McLeans area (near Castle Donnington). Book via circuit on 01332 810048. Note that this is less suitable for families/those wanting a quiet night than Park Farm campsite, which is just outside Paddock gate and needs prebooking. Park Farm's number is 01332 862 409, fax 862 364 and email John Shields. .

> Nearest Train station / Bus Route:
Long Eaton (4 miles, then you walk or hitch) although Nottingham, Derby and Loughborough have better service. Midland Mainline Rail service from London to Nottingham and/or Derby at least once an hour. Central Trains run services to Long Eaton from Derby and Nottingham but bus services from Long Eaton are poor (to circuit). There are bus services from Loughborough, Derby and Nottingham to Castle Donington, some going past the circuit entrance as well. Castle Donington is about 1 mile from the nearest circuit entrance (by Coppice Corner and the Donington Collection). See also Barton Buses for local bus/coach services. Because it's very rare for spectators to travel by public transportation (and so very difficult, as at Silverstone and Brands Hatch, there is huge traffic congestion.
>Tickets: Ticket prices (the real ones, not what your group tour company is trying to charge you) can be found at the official website

A FEW NOTES ABOUT DONINGTONPARK CIRCUIT DERBY UK
Donington Park Circuit is one of the true cornerstones of British racing. An awesome track provides thrills and spills (and lots of rain and bitter cold mostly) and the visit there is never wasted any time of the year because of the magical Donington Park Grand Prix Collection / Museum, just by the main entrance. Totally astounding and not to be missed by any racing buff. I had the pleasure of viewing the collection in February of 2004 and the Ayrton Senna collection sent shivers up my spine!
