If you're lucky enough to have dibs on a time share condo on or near Daytona Beach, and you can secure time in it on a major race weekend, you're home and hosed for a place to stay in Daytona during busy race weeks/weekends! But the real fun happens in the camping area in the huge infield. If that's not quite your pace, and you want to actually sleep sometime during any of the speedweeks, then you might try searching hotel link above. If you don't find a vacancy in that group, there just isn't one... you might have to travel a little because the ones in town are booked months if not a year in advance, but you'll find a place to stay for the NASCAR weekends, for the 200 and even for bike week and spring break.

Eating at an American race event boils (or broils) down to the age old tradition of tail-gating, that is throwing everything capable of consumption into the biggest possible cooking machine, with beer used as beverage, batter, and flavor, and making a show of it too!
