Movies: Chicago has an IMAX theatre at Navy Pier. The coolest drive-in theater is the The Cascade in West Chicago. Other Drive ins in/around Chicago: drive-ins.com. For Independent films choices are dwindling after the sad loss of the 3 Penny. Film Festivals run all though the year in town.
