Sadly, the news arrived in late February 2008 that the champcar world series would no longer be with us. It is to be amalgamated into the IRL indycar series (check link for new amalgamated schedule) so a page of dates for Champ Car racing in 2008 and forward is not possible. The final running of the 800 horsepower beasts that gave the world such enjoyment for so many years was held on April 20, 2008 at the Grand Prix of Long Beach. Sad. Money talks, but what is not always bs has to walk.... unfortunately. There will be another Long Beach Grand Prix - see link for 2009 dates and beyond.
